“We carry 50 flavours of ice cream made by two local companies—Kawartha Dairy in Bobcaygeon and Central Smith Ice Cream in Selwyn,” says Peter Ciulla, who owns Mariloo’s with his wife Georgine.

Offering 50 flavours of ice cream in Buckhorn isn’t the only thing that makes Mariloo’s Ice Cream and Milkshakes a unique place to visit in the Kawartha Lakes.

“We have specialty milkshakes too,” says Peter Ciulla.

For example, you could try Mariloo’s Tropic Thunder milkshake. It’s made with three types of ice cream– mango, orange-pineapple and coconut–and topped with whipped cream.

Or, how about the Party Mix milkshake? It combines two ice cream flavours–cotton candy and birthday cake–and is capped off with whipped cream and sprinkles.

Feel like a sundae? Two of Mariloo’s most popular ones are their Hot Brownie Sundae and their Hot Butter Tart Sundae.

You can even customize your ice cream
